Black History Month 2015

Discovering the Early History of Black Creative Expression in Chicago.

This presentation draws on the research from Dr. Richard Courage’s 2011 book The Muse in Bronzeville and a National Endowment for the Humanities-supported research project that currently involves Courage, Jacques and Chicago historian Christopher R. Reed.
