This article focus on interactive artwork installations, reflects on the limitations and shortcomings of developing dynamic interactive hybrid environments and their influence on mediated consciousness. It analyzes and defines the fields of study and establishes cybersemiotics as a framework allowing for the equal integration of the elements involved in the process. It defines the elements involved in the process and their relationship while proposing to observe it as complex and dynamic system, questions embodiment and mediation capabilities by observing and describing these elements’ space-time aesthetic qualities and properties while suggesting new approaches on how to experience the elements interaction, in what the author calls the cybersemiotic experience.
